All of QYH’s SGM projects are developed according to VM0026 and have the Climate, Community, and Biodiversity (CCB) Label, restoring degraded grassland by re-seeding with native grass species and sustainably managing livestock grazing within the project areas.

During the field visit, QYH’s development team met with our partners at the Carbon Sink Technology Innovation Center (Kunming Natural Ecosystem Carbon Sink and Emission Reduction Project Team), Forestry & Grassland Bureaus in Guazhou, Subei, and Aksai counties, local stakeholders, and local media organizations.

We’re proud of the work that we are doing at QYH in collaboration with our partners and local communities in northwest Gansu, China, and hope that through the projects’ development, we can help restore the natural grassland ecosystem while supporting the local economy in a sustainable way.

We look forward to issuing more updates about our Sustainable Grassland Management projects as we continue to make on-site visits this summer!
