
The “Second Carbon Neutrality Boao Conference,” jointly hosted by the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA) and the China Quality Certification Center (CQCC), and organized by CQCC‘s Carbon Neutrality Professional Committee, concluded successfully. During the conference, the ‘Boao Declaration on Corporate Action for Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality’ was signed, and declaration trophies were awarded to 35 signing companies, including Tencent Group, Ant Group, and Huawei Group. Among them, Beijing Qianyuhui International Environmental Investment Co., Ltd. was honored as an “Outstanding Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Service Organization”.’
Over the past six years, QYH has actively responded to President Xi Jinping’s call that ” Clear waters and green mountains are mountains of gold and silver,” as well as China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, as long as international climate actions. QYH has been continuously providing high-quality and reliable carbon neutrality solutions and services for global enterprises.

During the conference, Mr. Hao Xuanzheng, Chairman of Beijing Qianyuhui International Environmental Investment Co., Ltd., was invited to share how the company, guided by the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in addressing global changes, has reduced risks in the carbon trading market. He also discussed how society as a whole can accelerate the adjustment and optimization of industrial and energy structures, sparking a green revolution and helping businesses achieve carbon neutrality. This includes implementing energy-saving and emission reduction strategies to effectively control emissions for carbon neutrality and offsetting unavoidable emissions through carbon offset mechanisms.

The theme of this conference was “Carbon Neutrality – International Perspectives and Planning,” and it delved into topics such as global consensus and measures for addressing climate change, the EU carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM), China’s top-level design of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality, and how regions and businesses can strategically transform and plan under the vision of carbon neutrality.

The conference featured 51 government leaders, industry experts, and corporate leaders who delivered speeches. The discussions among experts were high-level, and the coverage was comprehensive, creating a strong academic atmosphere.

A roundtable discussion was organized during the conference, with participation from 20 corporate representatives. These representatives showcased the achievements of their respective companies in the field of carbon neutrality and shared practical experiences in implementing carbon neutrality initiatives.

More than 300 companies participated in the conference, fostering a harmonious and enthusiastic atmosphere for on-site exchanges. Attendees not only had the opportunity to listen to high-level discussions and plans related to carbon neutrality but also learned from practical cases of major corporations. This expanded their theoretical knowledge and increased understanding and communication with upstream and downstream customers, creating more business opportunities. Furthermore, the conference contributed to the “3060” plan by offsetting 67 tons of carbon emissions, achieving carbon neutrality for the event, and contributing to the company’s environmental efforts.
